Punjab enforces ban on entry of vehicles without fitness certificate on motorways, highways – Hum NEWS

LAHORE: The Punjab government and the National Highways and Motorway Police (NH&MP) on Thursdday signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) that sets forth measures to prohibit the entry of vehicles without a valid fitness certificate and route permit on motorways and highways. At the MoU signing ceremony held in Lahore, Caretaker Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi announced to establishment of a trauma centre at the Lahore-Islamabad Motorway, a project that will be completed with the support of the National Highway Authority.
