Pakistan celebrates 147th birth anniversary of Quaid-i-Azam Mohammad Ali Jinnah

ISLAMABAD – Pakistan is celebrating the 147th birth anniversary of country’s founder, Quaid-i-Azam Mohammad Ali Jinnah, on Monday (today) with traditional zeal and fervour. As the nation marks public holiday today, several activities are planned today at the state level to shed light on Jinnah’s lifelong political struggle and his guiding principles of unity, faith, and discipline. December 25 dawned with special prayers for the security, progress and prosperity of South Asian nation. Following every year’s ritual, a change of guards ceremony at Quaid’s mausoleum will be held in Karachi. In the special programs and events, Jinnah’s life and legacy will be remembered.
