Cebu City, Philippines -One or two tropical cyclones are expected in this December, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration in Mactan (Pagasa-Mactan) said. Pagasa said this is the normal number of storms on the last month of the year. But historical data shows that there is only a 60-70 percent chance that any tropical cyclone entering the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) in November and December will impact the Visayas region. While the specific landfall areas are uncertain, residents are still advised to stay informed about the weather conditions and prepare accordingly.
