Large crowd on hand to greet Santa during 2023 Cambridge Christmas parade

CAMBRIDGE – As darkness fell along Wheeling Avenue, the street lights, decorated with twinkling bulbs, gave off a magical glow, setting the scene for the 2023 Cambridge Christmas parade. Crowds camped out along the sidewalk, eager to watch the annual event Saturday evening. The parade, hosted by Cambridge Main Street, has become a holiday staple in Guernsey County. Leading the parade this year as the grand marshal was the Guernsey County Runners and Walkers Club, otherwise known as GROW. The parade had more than 50 entries this year, including floats put together by ICR and the Guernsey County Community Development Corp., which won Best of Show for its float.
