Holiday Wrapup: Lakeview boys win Parma Western Tournament

BATTLE CREEK – It was a good holiday break for the Lakeview boys basketball team. The Spartans earned a victory over their city rival Harper Creek in the Chuck Turner Holiday Classic. Then, Lakeview came away with a championship in the Parma Western Holiday Tournament. “Yeah, we had a pretty good break. That puts us at 7-2, which is a lot better than 2-7,” Lakeview coach Steve Wichmann quipped. Lakeview opened the four-team Parma Western event with a 63-21 win over Sturgis on Wednesday.
