Holiday declared for schools in Chennai and neighbouring districts due to heavy rain | Chennai News – Times of India

CHENNAI: Schools in Chennai and it’s two neighbouring districts will remain closed on Thursday due to heavy rain. On Wednesday evening, Chennai and it’s neighbouring districts have received heavy rain. In view of the heavy rain forecast, district collectors of Kancheepuram, Chengalpetand Tiruvallur have declared holiday to schools. Tiruvallur district has announced holiday for colleges as well.
