Explosion shocks Pakistani territory a week before elections

Islamabad, Feb 1 (Prensa Latina) An explosion shocked the province of Balochistan, in Pakistan, on Thursday, a week before the general elections, according to police reports. Several people were killed and injured in the explosion, which occurred near Ghulam Nabi Chowk, in Turbat, according to the Associated Press of Pakistan (APP) news agency. A private news channel reported that the police had confirmed the incident, but have not yet determined the type of explosive device used.
