Comal 864 is opening a second location. It’ll be both different and the same

GREENVILLE — Serving up high quality Tejano food at an affordable price is a business model that’s been working for Comal 864 since the restaurant opened in 2021. With another location coming to the intersection of Laurens Road and Pleasantburg Drive, chef and owner Dayna Lee-Márquez isn’t looking to change too much. But, there will be a few features exclusive to the new space. For starters, it will be bigger and offer more seating than Comal’s location on Woodside Avenue in the City View community. This lends itself to bigger community events, like Comal 864’s signature holiday meals, and a greater reach to serve those facing food insecurity.
