ASHEVILLE – In what felt like an “eerie repeat” of another major holiday nearly a year prior, residents in dozens of homes on Beaucatcher Mountain woke up Thanksgiving morning without water. A main near Town Mountain Road had burst. Though the scale was much smaller and the intermittent outages much shorter, it felt like an omen.
