LAS VEGAS – Allegiant (NASDAQ: ALGT) and the Transport Workers Union of America (TWU) Local 577 have reached a tentative agreement on a new five-year labor contract for over 1,700 flight attendants. This development follows a bargaining period of roughly 15 months since the amendable date of their initial collective bargaining agreement on December 21, 2022. The proposed contract includes substantial wage increases, additional compensation for operational delays, designated holiday pay, and enhancements to retirement benefits. Flight attendants are also expected to benefit from improved quality of life measures, such as scheduling flexibility, leave of absence policies, and a minimum trip pairing pay.
