MANILA, Philippines — A person was injured in an illegal firearms discharge incident a few days before New Year’s, the Philippine National Police said Tuesday. As of 6 a.m. Tuesday, the PNP reported seven cases of illegal firearms discharge, with five firearms confiscated. However, authorities have not recorded any casualties due to stray bullets.
