Thursday sports roundup: Buffalo Gap, Riverheads basketball pick up holiday wins

GREENVILLE — Riverheads and Buffalo Gap both won Thursday night in the semifinals of the Waste Management Holiday Basketball Tournament at Riverheads High School. The district rivals will square off in the championship game Friday night, although it won’t be considered a district game. The Buffalo Gap boys opened the night with a 55-39 win over Liberty Bedford.
