Tamil Nadu Rains: As torrential downpours battered the coastal regions of Tamil Nadu, authorities in many districts declared a holiday for schools. All schools in Chennai and Tiruvallur districts will be closed on Wednesday, November 15, due to continuous heavy rainfall, an official said on Tuesday. “Holiday declared for all schools in Chennai District on November 15, due to continuous heavy rainfall in the district,” Rashmi Siddharth Zagade, a District Collector said as quoted by ANI.
