Belagavi: State BJP vice-president and former MLA Anil Benake has demanded that the state government should declare at least a half-day holiday on the day of Ram Lalla idol installation in Ayodhya on Monday. Speaking to media at the BJP office in Sadashiv Nagar here on Sunday, Benake said that the Central government has already declared a half day holiday on Jan 22. “We are requesting the state government to declare a half-day government holiday in Karnataka as well.
