PREP ROUNDUP: Decatur Heritage girls defeat Class 3A No. 2 St. James

Dec. 30 — HUNTSVILLE — Leslie Hames had 24 points and eight rebounds as Decatur Heritage picked up a 62-57 win over Class 3A No. 2 St. James at the Falcon Classic at St. John Paul II on Friday. Decatur Heritage (14-3) rallied from a 11-10 deficit after one quarter to take a 28-25 lead into halftime. The Eagles extended the lead to 48-44 after three quarters and held on for the win.
