Udhagamandalam: Services of the mountain train on the Nilgiri Mountain Railways (NMR) between Mettupalayam and Ooty have been cancelled for two days till Thursday. Railway officials said that the decision was taken due to the incessant rains that lashed the Nilgiris in the last two days. Meanwhile, the Salem division of the southern railway announced three additional holiday special mountain train services in the NMR section from January 18 .The decision was taken in response to the patronage for the holiday special trains and tourists’ requests. tnn We also published the following articles recently
