Four in 10 UK holidaymakers (42%) are keen to learn a new sport during their travels – with “picklecore” emerging as a top travel trend for 2024, according to data. The term refers to the racket or paddle sport, Pickleball – a mix of tennis, badminton, and table tennis – which involves hitting a hollow, perforated plastic ball over a low net, using a short bat or paddle.
