Chennai: Emergency services at Puducherry’s Jipmer hospital won’t be affected during the half day holiday on Monday for Ayodhya temple consecration, Union government informed Madras high court on Sunday. “No emergency service will be stopped. Planned surgeries will be rescheduled,” additional solicitor general A R L Sundaresan submitted, following a PIL moved by a Puducherry resident challenging the holiday declaration.
