PATNA: A teacher walked into a school in dry Bihar allegedly drunk, announced a holiday and asked all students to go home, sparking a fury later that saw angry villagers tie him up, drag him to a police station and set him up for possible suspension. Ravi Shankar Bharti’s antics unfolded Wednesday at the Upgraded Middle School at Korhas, located atop a hill in Rohtas district’s Nauhatta area. Though four teachers are posted in the school with 185 students, Bharti was the first to walk in that morning.
