Ludhiana: The district consumer disputes redressal commission has directed a private travel company to pay Rs 10,000 to a customer for deficiency in service. The commission comprising its president Sanjeev Batra and member Monika Bhagat also ordered LRW International Private Limited to refund Rs 80,000 to customer Sukhpreet Singh of Brown road in Ludhiana within 30 days from the date of receipt of copy of order, failing which the complainant shall be entitled to 8% interest per annum from the date of order till its actual payment.
