Buses, School Vans, Garbage Disposal Affected | Nagpur News – Times of India

Nagpur: The truckers strike over the new ‘hit-and-run law’ disrupted vehicular traffic in the city on Tuesday too, and also hit civic services like public transport, and garbage collection. Traffic resumed on major highways like Bhandara, Jabalpur Road etc, however traffic on some major roads like Koradi, Godhani, Khaparkheda, Kamptee via Shanti Nagar route remained affected on Tuesday. Some schools located outside the city limits extended their winter vacations. Almost 30% of Nagpur Municipal Corporation’s city bus services were affected and so was the case with garbage transportation to landfills. On Tuesday, buses, taxi drivers and many other organizations joined the transporters’ protest.
